I would like to believe that I am writing on behalf of the constituents of Munroe Road in Cunupia, who have been experiencing an uneven supply of pipe-borne water for approximately two years now.
While I understand that water scheduling is necessary, given the insufficient rainfall, it will be so much better if WASA curtails the supply during the week, for the two days that they have been doing so, instead of on the weekend when working citizens are at home and is the time when household duties and chores are done.
This is so unfair, to put it mildly. Today is Sunday, June 19, and there’s not a drop of water in the pipeline. A few months ago, a WASA scheduling officer came to do a house-to-house survey during the morning period. He enquired about the pressure level that WASA was administering and I told him that if we were getting a regular supply we won’t complain of pressure level. He said he was investigating reports of low pressure from residents.
It will be heartening if WASA can look into this problem and have it rectified as soon as possible. Thank you.
