Mash up the place to get jobs

Down with using the culturally acceptable, professionally standardised route of education and skills training, and presenting resume first then self if called to an interview to get job. Instead, use the La Brea route: block roads, elicit the media to report on your mission to inconvenience and endanger of the public with tyre-burning.

While the media are on site, howl at Government ministers and defame and shame your community to bully companies into hiring you.

The ministers won’t reprimand their dear supporters.

They stand in solidarity with them. So mash up the place to get jobs. Companies should look forward to employing hooligans, as inhabited in La Brea, on their staff.

This will strengthen company image and reputation.

And it will enhance productivity and quality of product output. And it will redound to production of more cost competitive products and services.

On another note, it’s laughable that T&T talks about diversifying the country by developing a tourist service-anchored industry when people in T&T despise roles hinged on serving. Nurses are a fair example of this disconnect between job title and actual daily practices.

And what is more, those who speak in promotion of a diversifying to a service-hinged work industry are none too keen to give up their lofty executive roles to administer service.
