Style meets art at...

Tomorrow, fashion meets art and entertainment in the event Tobago Fashion Coda 4 at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort. Themed Tobago Power, the 6 pm show aims to empower women, with a theme of black to represent power and a show of strength in challenging times.

Against a moonlit backdrop, the April 21 all-inclusive show will feature many local designers and models in resort, couture and ready-to-wear clothes.

It includes pan music from Petrotrin Katzenjammers, as well as a feast of Tobagonian foods such as “buck buck,” crab and dumplings, curried goat and fish fingers. Food also includes an international carving station and a range of desserts.

CreativeTT reports that producer of the fashion show, Don Grant, is excited about this year’s edition: “I produce the Coda event because I love Tobago. It has my heart.

“An event like this showcases the best mix of Tobago, the public sector and the private sector.”

Support from the Tobago House of Assembly, the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort, Advanced Dynamics, blink/bmobile, Sebastien Hair Products, and AS Bryden & Sons helped make the show possible.
